Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve

We meet and welcome you to Kenya. Pick up in the morning and head out to Masai Mara where you arrive in time for lunch at Endeem Mara Resort. The route to Masai Mara is very scenic, passing through the highlands from where you have beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley below. You traverse the sprawling Loita plains and get to meet and interact with local people along the way. After lunch, you will have time to relax and freshen up before enjoying a thrilling evening game drive with good chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and many other animals.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, you will set off on a full day to explore the expansive Masai Mara Game Reserve. Here you have the best chances to see the Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo, and Leopard), watch Cheetahs hunting, or even spot a leopard. Plenty of Antelopes, the Zebras, Giraffes, and Gnus populate the Mara plains, too. This day you also visit Mara River where hippos are in plenty. A Picnic Lunch will be served in a designated location inside the park. We can also arrange for an optional visit to a traditional Masai Village or even take a hot air balloon ride over the plains of Masai Mara.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

You will begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:30 to 08:30 hours. This pre-breakfast game drive gives you good chances to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. Some of the elusive animals like the leopard may be seen at this hour. After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you can relax before enjoying a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. See large eagles circling over the lake while the hippos enjoy their afternoon relaxing in the water. Thereafter you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

After breakfast, you will leave Lake Naivasha and take a road trip to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. The trip takes about 6 hours and therefore you will arrive for late lunch at AA Lodge Amboseli. After lunch, you have time to relax before enjoying an evening game drive in the park. Amboseli National Park is known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Day 5: Amboseli - Diani Beach

After breakfast, you will proceed to the coastal city of Mombasa and on to Diani beach. Along the way, you will enjoy a picnic lunch. You will arrive in the late afternoon to be welcomed by lush gardens with a large pool, the white sand beach, crystal clear ocean water, a comfortable big room, and great food on an all-inclusive basis. Diani Beach is known for the gigantic reef, which serves as a natural shield against waves and ensures that the water is wonderfully quiet and relaxing.

Day 6: Amboseli - Diani Beach

You will have a full day in this tropical paradise and get to enjoy a variety of optional beach activities such as snorkeling, camel rides and simply sunbathing or swimming in the warm sea.

Day 7: Diani Beach – Nairobi

You can enjoy your last breakfast in the resort. Thereafter you will be transferred to Diani Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
